Office Toilets Renovation, London.

I was asked to refurbish the Ladies and Gents WC’s on two floors of this central London office block. The vanity units were to be wrapped in an LG Hausys matt white marble vinyl, with a brushed metal effect in the cubicles. New basins and taps were to be fitted. As the toilet bowls were wall hung, they had become loose over time, so a little structural work was needed before wrapping the service panels. The cubicle doors were removed and all the panels wrapped in the brushed metal effect vinyl film.

 At some point, a wooden top had been fitted over the original stone, which meant I couldn’t use a jigsaw to cut the new hole for the sink. Instead, I made a template, cut out the wooden top and then chiselled away the stone. The vanity unit service panels were replace with MDF ones, edge banded and wrapped in the white marble film, along with the top. The new sinks and taps were fitted, waste outlet pipework replaced and a silicone bead to finish all the edges.
